Regular Daily Boat Tours

What to do in St. Petersburg? Sounds like a silly question. There’s plenty of things to do and to see. But if you happen to visit the city in late spring or summer or early autumn, there’s on thing that is an absolute must-do: taking a boat tour along St. Pete’s famous rivers and canals. If you come by youself or with your family or a group of friends, the easiest way to do it is to take a boat cruise with Anglotourismo, the company that was the first in St. Pete to run this kind of tours in English specially for people who prefer to travel independently rather than as a part of package tours.
In 2011 the season is closed.
From May 2nd to September 30th we run five tours at 11.00, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00, and 19.00. Two more tours at 21.00 and 00.20 will be available daily from June 1st to August 31st.
All tours are guided in English!
Duration and cost:
11.00, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00, 19.00 and 21.00 tours run for 1 hour and cost 500 rubles adults/400 rubles students (Day Tours).
00.20 tour runs for 1 hour 30 min and costs 700 rubles adults/600 rubles students (Night Tour).
Routes and features:
Our 11.00 o’clock tour goes to 5 different canals & rivers. Enjoy the views of the charming Kolomna discrict, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Yussupov Palace & nearly 50 bridges along the route!
13.00, 15.00, 17.00, 19.00 and 21.00 tours tend to go along the Fontanka and the Neva rivers. Main sites along the way include Anichkov Bridge, Engineer’s Castle, Summer Gardens, the Salt District, Field of Mars, Church on Spilt Blood, St. Peter and Paul’s fortress, Trinity Bridge, the Winter Palace, the Kunstkamera, St. Isaac’s Cathedral and the University of St. Petersburg.
As we all know, every city looks different in the dark, but our 00.20 tour offers even more! This is likely to be the best opportunity to find out all about St Petersburg’s famous White Nights Festival. As your guide’s commentary helps you out recognize the sites along the river banks that may look unfamiliar in the dusk, enjoy the cool breeze from the Gulf of Finland, salute to a raised bridge on the Neva with a glass of champagne (bringing your own is not a terrible crime) and join the improvised race of dozens of water bikes, yachts and motor boats on the way back to the dock!

How to take a tour
First of all – you don’t have to book it, just turn up! Anglotourismo Boat Tours leave from a dock on the Fontanka river next to Shuvalovsky Palace (Nab. Reki Fontanki 21). Tickets are available in our ticket booth (Nab. Reki Fontanki 27) next to north western corner of Anichkov Bridge – a famous bridge with the four horse statues right on the main street. We recommend showing up 10-15 minutes before the tour starts – more chances to get the best seats!

Boat
Our boat has a covered deck, so we go rain or shine and even if only 1 person shows up for the tour!
